The Gold Rush, with Mart Taylor

This is a 50 minute one man show based upon original 19th Century material taken from a song book published by Mart Taylor in the 1850’s.  I perform this material using an authentic antique 19th guitar and a self-made replica 19th Century fretless banjo.

Mart Taylor is a real character from  California's past who entertained throughout the northern gold camps of the 1850s.

In addition to my musical repertoire, I have many amusing tales of that hardy gold panning breed including a bald header whizzer perpetrated by Pike Sellers in '49.
